For nearly four decades, the Belgian Charcot Foundation has supported cutting-edge research on multiple sclerosis (MS) in Belgium with one clear ambition: to deepen our understanding of the disease, accelerate the development of treatments, and improve the quality of life for those affected.

Sunday, May 25: 137 participants ran for multiple sclerosis research. Thanks to their efforts and your support, more than one full year of research has been funded. We had set three milestones:

Each scientific advance in the fight against multiple sclerosis means further hope for patients and their families. The recent designation by the FDD of tolebrutinib as a “breakthrough therapy” for multiple sclerosis is a new source of hope for the secondary progressive forms of the disease.

Manon, who lives with MS, will once again take part in the race with her team. For the occasion, she has launched a delightful initiative: the Charcookies! Homemade cookies, sold at €5 per bag to support the Foundation.

his year, 137 dedicated runners will take on the challenge of the 20 km of Brussels in support of the Charcot Foundation.

A major new project in the works: by this summer, the Charcot Foundation will launch a digital Knowledge Centre entirely dedicated to multiple sclerosis.
