In 2022, the doctoral fellowship programme for young researchers, Charcot Fellowship, will be renamed Charcot PhD Fellowship. The call for candidates for this 4-year fellowship (worth 200,000) will be launched in February.

The Belgian Charcot Foundation is launching the Charcot Clinical Fellowship, a mandate allowing a young clinician to conduct part-time clinical research in the field of multiple sclerosis.

Due to his donors, the Charcot Fund will support 18 renowned research teams to the tune of almost half a million euros.The scientific jury has chosen not only to pursue promising avenues of research but also to support innovation and to provide very concrete support to 11 teams who have joined forces to purchase a vital piece of equipment.

The EBV virus is a member of the herpes virus family (oral herpes, genital herpes, chickenpox, shingles, etc.) and is transmitted by droplets of saliva. As a rule, the infection is asymptomatic.
