Our research focuses on a protein known as amphiregulin (AREG), which is capable of controlling inflammation in the brain. Our intention is to determine whether AREG, when administered using a special technique known as adeno-associated virus (AAV) vector technology, can help reduce inflammation and protect brain cells in a mouse model of MS. This could open up new prospects for the treatment of MS by including the effect of AREG on the brain. Our purpose is to explore its potential as a therapeutic approach to the management of neuroinflammation in MS.
