The MS Connections campaign is all about building community connection, self-connection and connections to quality care.The campaign tagline is ‘I Connect, We Connect’ and the campaign hashtag is #MSConnections.MS Connections challenges social barriers that leave people affected by MS feeling lonely and socially isolated. It is an opportunity to advocate for better services, celebrate support networks and champion self-care.
Prof. T. Vanmierlo works on the brain's favourite fat: myelin. In this video, he explains how he wants to strengthen the existing protection system against stress and thus give brain cells the possibility to repair myelin. In this way, he hopes to slow down or even stop the progression of the disease.
Prof. N. Cools is working on a study to make cell therapy "ready to use". Furthermore, the results of the research presented in this video could lead to the development of a cell-free therapy for MS that would avoid the drawbacks of cell therapy.

In 2022, the doctoral fellowship programme for young researchers, Charcot Fellowship, will be renamed Charcot PhD Fellowship. The call for candidates for this 4-year fellowship (worth 200,000) will be launched in February.
